Dream Log for version 4.0

This dream made me think of Josh. And it was sort of a cream log of a dream log, even though I'm only 30% gay. Sorry Josh.

I should also mention that, in the days prior, I'd been doing tarot work specifically related Crowley's adaption of 'The Devil'. (organ music rising). You all know it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The preceding fragments of the dream were convoluted and also, strangely, snippets of prior dreams:
an x (x, x, x, etc.)-g/f, she's crying and saying things I don't really understand....later, I'm pitching a breakfast cereal idea to Donald Trump....later still, I'm struggling under water with a gigantic octopus and Captain Crunch saves me (is Captain Crunch still around??)....later again, I'm groping through marshland on the dark-side of the some planet, and then struggling up a crystal mountain in the dark until I reach a flea market in caves, where I find a wand with which I draw a pentagram that becomes a portal. I step inside and meet the Devil.
....the Devil: he's a horned goat with nothing spectacularly insidious or horrible about Him. He looks pretty much exactly like the tarot card, and I'm standing in front of Him, wondering if I should a) worship (b/c hey, even though the Luciferian Society don't worship, when you meet the fucking Devil don't tell me it doesn't cross your fucking mind), b) ask Him about Life, the Universe and Everything, or c) tell me the "true" story of creation, Jesus, Jehova and Everything, or d) try to make Him do things for me. I clearly remember considering all these possibilities, as the damned thing stood looking at me over his book. Quite naturally, I wandered closer and looked at his book, which turned out to be 'The Game', by Neil Strauss (hence being reminded of Josh). I was blown away that the Devil was reading it. It looked at me in the curious way animals look at people, and then said--in perfectly intelligible English: "What? I'm the god of sex and social rules".

End of Dream.

I just now read this and had an odd synchronicity...

I had a wildly vivid, yet dizzying, fragmented about the devil last night.

It was like I had a dread about him/it. And he/it took me on some ride inside my head. I only have a vague memory of it.

Wake up, went to work...

In my office, there were about a dozen, maybe a few more, large horseflies! No idea how they could have got in. No windows were open. I was the first one there this morning.

So many flies that I started swatting them but decided it would be easier to break out the shop vac. So I dragged the shop vac from the dungeon (dingy basement of the office) up and sucked those fuckers down. I should have counted them...

The correlation between the flies and the devil- Lord of the flies. Anyone know where I can find that quote? I recall it being at the end or the beginning of the movie. I can't find it.
