For those memebearers stumbling on to this site (the forwarding re direct should take effect soon).
The site was accidentally crashed by Soul during his hosting plan change.
Soul is sending me the backup copy. Hopefully soon.
Otherwise we start over, again.
Perhaps a scrape every two years be in order? Archive everything, wipe it, fill it back up again. Just a thought.
Feel free to point out glitches please.

Siiiick. I thought the LucSoc had migrated somewhere for me only to find it again months from now. Mayhaps I'll be more active in this incarnation. Good to see it is still around.

It's bittersweet to move... I've grown used to it both in the RL and with respect to this "place". The place that is anywhere... It's really cool to see that the group doesn't by any means disintegrate over the loss of a website. We just pick up and move on. Now that we've got the database from soul, nothing is even really lost. The question is (or one of them): how much to we unpack and put up and how much stays in boxes and goes in the basement? (i.e., archive some of the old shit?)
I think that we sometimes take for granted the value of what we generate here. Lots of great material in those "boxes". It's good to be able to hang on to it. Kind of like how one of the few encumbrances that will always travel with me are my books; and my cat.
In any case, it's good to be "home"

Fuck cats....the lucsoc seems to have infinite lives. When it crashed I knew it was just a matter of time before it popped up again.
